Thank you for taking the time to view the pictures and videos of this offering. I wanted to let everyone know that all pictures are exactly as I see them through the camera lenses. We did not and have not ever photo shopped a single picture. (This includes grass color, background etc. What you see is what you get) This set of cattle were all northern bred and I tried to list the breeders or consignors on each individual calf so you could do further research on the individual lot of your interest if you care to.

This entire set was received here at Weatherford TX on Sunday November 1, since then they have endured 80 degree temps every single day, dehorning, vaccination, halter breaking and transition stress as well as being clipped only one time. The fact the cattle look as good as they do in these conditions and in this short period of time is a true testament to their quality.

As the cattle fill up and we get cooler weather before the sale we will continue to get updated and improved pictures and they will be downloaded at austincattle.com.

I am very proud of how picky we were in selecting this group and would be proud to assist with any final show grooming service on any of these as long as the buyer will take care of my travel costs. There are many champions in this group and most will be sold well below the market value you have seen at previous sales this year comparing apples to apples quality.

Thank you again for your time and in closing I would like to stress one final thing. THIS GROUP OF CATTLE IS BEING SOLD WITH ONE GOAL IN MIND, WE DONT JUST WANT TO MAKE A SALE ON NOVEMBER 19TH, WE PLAN TO MAKE A REPEAT CUSTOMER.

LOT 3
Proud Jazz x Salute Heifer
T to the H to the F to the R to the EE! What's that spell? TH FREE!! She is the showring kind, good luck trying to buy a heifer of this quality at any of the shorthorn breeders sales.
She will be worth the $$$, I assure you.

LOT 7
Carnac x Grizz/Midas
Disposition will suit a first time showman, selling 100% possession and 50% embryo interest. We will include 10 units of BULLICIOUS semen with this heifer as well as all other heifers in the sale.
I wont blow my own horn on this one, the pictures should say it all.

LOT 9
Dirty Hairy x Meyer granddaughter (bred by Campidilli)
He may not win many jackpot shows, but when its time to peel the hair off for a slick show this one will be in the hunt!

LOT 10

Monopoly x Throttle/Meyer, bred by Troy Carter.
This is the poster child for ACC this year. The Smooth Sailing steer that won Nebraska AGR as well as many other banners and the Monopoly Steer shown by Chelsea Spencer graced the pages of many magazine ads, Bull ads and show results pages. They both stood in this same picture pen before getting pictured in front of the back drop. We expect equal or additional success from lot 10, opening bid is $1500 and his consignor, Troy Carter said "HE BRINGS WHAT HE BRINGS, LET EM ROLL AT ANY FIGURE, I OWN THE FACTORY AND I WILL MAKE MORE."
Congratulations to Troy and Jill on raising a future champion and discovering a new donor within the herd!!

LOT 11
Heat Wave xTotally Tuned
(bred by Lautner/Breeders Cup group)
Big legs, big belly, soft made. This steer was clipped and pictured after the 1st day on the halter, his disposition is puppy dog gentle. Nice limmy at Tulsa State Fair in my opinion.

LOT 12
Heatwave x Meyer
This is a meat and potatoes kinda steer, big barreled, monster butt, loose spined and super sound. He is probably a good Ak-Sar-Ben candidate.

LOT 13
"Northern State Fair Steer"
"Lucky 13" is a late February Heartache consigned to us from Collins in Oklahoma. This is truly the "State Fair sized" steer of our offering as well he is built to suit the northern or eastern shows. He is super long necked, huge rumped, very athletic and loose spined. His hair???? That's the best part, this steer was born just 30 miles north of the red river. Other than the first six weeks of his life he has lived in 80-110 degree temps his entire life, he has never seen a frost! I am really hoping to get some participation from the east or the mid west on this one he could explode with even more potential in a cold climate.

LOT 14
Point Taken Steer
Huge boned, super stout and soggy. Great State Fair Steer, disposition, soundness and hair quality are great!

LOT 15
Heat Wave x Simmy/Shorthorn
This is another one of my personal top 5 favorites of the offering. Disposition is kid proof and quality is outstanding, this one is ready to go to the show!

LOT 16
Money Maker X BR Midland - Reg. Angus Heifer
This heifer was bred by Express Ranches and was raised by Maverick County Cattle Co in Kansas. I have purchased many high quality Angus females from Express and Ronnie and Tyler Glover for the base of this herd in Kansas. Alan Petzold is managing the ranch and we have many more show heifers, bred heifers and yearling Angus bulls for sale. This is the first progeny marketed from this up in coming operation and we look for many more females of this quality in the future!

LOT 17
Rainmaker Steer
This steer was super hairy 3 weeks ago he has shucked and is now fuzzing back up. Other than that detail, he is big square rumped, long necked, super sound and good ribbed.

LOT 18

Manchild x Heat Seeker
Big legs, big hair, real skinny.

LOT 19
Red Hot Steer
This one really has the Heat Seeker look, big bone, big hair and nice rumped. I bought this steer from Dave Stoltz and Dave's steers always feed good for our customers.
He is good looking but I promise you he will have his best day at 1350#.

LOT 20
Heat Wave x Strictly Business
This steer is in the top 5 of our offering, he is 30 days behind the other top end steers in maturity but the quality is all there. His size is very functional, ideally I would call him a Kansas City steer,
but he could hold around to Denver as well. This steer will get purple banners in time.

LOT 21
Final Heat Steer
Big Bone, Stout featured from end to end. As sound as one could possibly be with great hair. He is a late march but a steer with good performance. Definitely a powerful state fair contender.
This is another consignment from Troy and Jill Carter and a result of the first calf crop of Final Heat.

LOT 22
Hillbilly Deluxe
This is another big stout, sound, great haired, great disposition steer that can go slick or hair. Bred by Kevin Heath in Nebraska and purchased by me
from Todd Caldwell. When I saw this one I said he has to go to Texas!

LOT 23

Eye on the Money
One of the best steers in the offering, but sadly..... the hands down least photogenic steer in the sale! He comes from the home of champions, the "Great Steve Downing" in Iowa.
If you don't see this one in person you have no idea how good he is. He will probably be a huge pleasant surprise to the winning bidder and no doubt will be way worth the $$$$
when this one's head is tied up, he has the look of the steers that win! Email me for additional pics on the halter.

LOT 24
Heat Wave x Draftpick/Full Flush
Another future champion raised by Dennis Pearson - Beloit KS. Need I say more?

LOT 25
Heat Wave
This is the full brother to the Res. Grand Steer at Oklahoma Youth Expo 2008. He is still a little green but if you wanna gamble on a good feeding one,
this one could run with the best of them at Kansas City!

LOT 26

May Heat Wave x Meyer
This one will slick this fall or coast around to Denver and Ft Worth. Bred by the Scotten brothers, there is power in the blood of that cow
herd and this one looks to be a good feeding black baldy!

LOT 27
Shake 'n Bake -
Yea Baby!!! if I could renew my 4-H licence this is the one I would be showing. Big legs, monster ass, and a freaky long neck with the big hair! Being a Friction grandson, the 'ol Full Flush
look came out in this one. He is the one that is fun to follow around the pen and stare at, a little twine in the flank and this one will be fun to drag around!!

LOT 28
Alias x Char/Angus -
Big Bone, sound, stout, good haired and good disposition. It doesn't matter if he goes north or stays south in the hair or slick, this is the real deal!
We have many more pics that we can e-mail upon request.

LOT 29
Final Heat x Endangered Species
This may calf is the skinniest calf in the offering, but he is also the most exciting, heavy boned and powerfully constructed steer of the group. Another success for Troy and Jill Carter and our first calf crop out of Final Heat!

LOT 30

Heatwave - SLICK SHEAR SPECIAL!
