MY FIRST WIN!!!!!!!!! Finally came Saturday June 13, 2009. I started last in my heat and took the lead on the 2nd lap, and it was see ya later after that! I started the "A" feature dead last (because of IMCA passing point avg's) and worked my way to the front despite being repeatedly hit in the left rear by a guy who was trying to spin me out to block for his buddy who was leading the race. After about the fourth time I let him in front of me and the proceeded to return the favor. He went spinning broke an axle and his car caught on fire. We then got a red flag on the track while they towed him off, I waved as he went by on the wrecker. I then went from 4th to 2nd but with only 2 laps left I couldn't catch the leader. This was our best finish, a great confidence booster and the start of a local fan club. Lynae had the trailer packed and insisted we haul a#@ before any post race action broke out at our pit stall. I casually loaded the car and went to watch the remaining races with no excitement taking place. (rubbin is racin)

On Fri June 19th we went to Boyd Raceway, 6 of the top 10 national and regional point leaders of my division race here, it is a deep and field. I started last in the heat and finished 5th, that gave me a 14th place starting position in the "A" Main, by the 3rd lap I had moved up to 8th but all of the sudden I saw a cloud of dust and sheet metal flying. I hit the brakes and dove to the infield but it was too late, I got collected up by this action then rear ended and spun around. This bent rear end housing so I was done for the weekend.

With rainouts and carburetor issues we have been off to a slow start in the 2009 season, but this weekend kicks off a 10 day 7 race series which will take place beginning this evening at Ardmore OK, and travel thru Waco, Beaumont, Houston area, and finish next Sunday at Willis TX, see schedule posted for exact dates and locations. The set up and handling of the car has been dialed in, and we hope with the addition of a new 4 barrel carburetor that the motor and horsepower should be strong. Everywhere I have been people tell me the same thing.man, your car is fast, you just need seat time to learn your way around the track and the competition. This 7 race series should give me a 2 to 3 month learning curve in a short 10 day period with lots of laps logged in a short period of time. Try to come watch some dirt track action when the 210 machine comes through your neighborhood. My cell is 817-304-0507 give me a call, we would love to see and visit many of our friends and customers during this touring series.
